Giving Back To Our Community
To demonstrate the affinity with Karratha and the surrounding areas some years ago Moxham Motors established it's own charity, namely Moxham Motors Touch-a-Life Foundation.
For every vehicle that's sold, a sum of money is deposited into the fund and when it reaches $5,000 Moxham Motors invite submissions from local people who are in desperate need through no fault of their own.
Working closely with the Salvation Army and Women's Refuge the foundation has been responsible for re-equipping two local families who lost everything in house fires, flying a terminally ill cancer patient home to Queensland to say goodbye to his family.
Then there was the homeless couple living at the rubbish tip who had their children removed by the authorities who eventually came off drugs and were re-united with them.
It was a real tale of courage, so the Foundation donated them a car to help out. These are just a few examples of the Foundation's work ... and of course the Foundation couldn't operate without the Karratha people supporting local business.
